Graduating in Theatrical design from Nottingham Trent university, Jema’s career in Theatre and Film spans 20 years.
As a professional costumer, she has worked on many productions in various capacities from Designer to Daily/Dresser both in the running and making wardrobe sections.
Her skills encompass pattern cutting, construction, breaking down, dyeing, research, budgeting, continuity.
Most recently she has supervised theatrical productions at the Bridewell Theatre, London, created principal costumes for feature films including ‘Tarzan’ (2016) and worked on several TV productions including ITV’s ‘Jericho’ and ‘Beowulf’.
She has also designed showstopping costumes for an assortment of cabaret and burlesque stars as private commissions and created unusual pieces for an assortment of artistic performers.
