Many of Jema’s spectacular creations have formed the focus of larger exhibitions.

The Absinthe fairy gown, the Gin bustle and the Empire dress have been variously exhibited at Kew Steam Museum, Bradford Industrial Museum, Foxlowe Arts Center and several international movie and comic conventions.

The Orrery Dress and Captain Cooks Expedition Ensemble were commissioned by The Royal Observatories Greenwich as part of their ‘Longitude Punk’d’ exhibition. Both the Orrery Dress and it’s accompanying headdress featured heavily in publicity and press reviews.

She has also worked on pieces for other artists including Yinka Shinobare.

As part of her practise she has been involved in many teaching and public interactions including assorted Craft workshops for clients including Nottingham County Council, The Embroiderers Guild, Stafford College and The National Maritime Museum, teaching and inspiring all ages and abilities in a variety of creative activities from school children to adult learners.

Some artworks are still available for loan on their especially created mannequins, and commissions are always welcome.
